  We had a great time in the beautiful yurt . It’s close to everything but not on the main drag not on busy street . Surrounded by woods and still close to everything you need . Many good restaurants close by and close to pigeon forge pkwy and short drive to gatlinburg . Very clean yurt , has plenty of towels , washer and dryer in unit , plenty of space for even small family . Peaceful area . You will hear the close by Dollywood but not enough to disturb you at all . The wilderness is in your back yard and gives you a chance to escape the day to day life . Will be back again and hope to spend more time there next time .

We were all able to eat together on the picnic table in our Yurt for all the meals we stayed in for. Very convenient to the Dollywood properties and kept us off the parkway.   All of the Yurts are the perfect gettaway for a small family or couples. My husband and I have stayed in almost all of them. The location is the best kept secret in all of the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area. Close to everything but away from the parkway traffic. The amenities are ideal for cooking if you like or going out if you like. If you are going to Dollywood, nothing is closer the park entrance! We've tried other options, this location, price, and amenities can't be beat! And, Sunny and Stacey are super easy to work with when making reservations - they make you feel like family. We don't waste our time anywhere else!

  We had a lovely time staying here! The property was very clean and tidy and it felt like the property owners cared about us and the beautiful environment we were in. Being so close to Dollywood was a little downfall, since we could clearly hear the park’s rollercoaster, but with the location we were never far from entertainment options.

  The Yurts are the perfect getaway! Everything is available for cooking , if you like. If not, many restaurants are close by. We love to stay here when we go to Dollywood. There is nothing closer to the park- even DreamMore isn’t closer than the yurts. We have stayed in 3 of them. They all have the same great amenities with some individual variations. We love the hot tubs and furnished decks. It’s quiet, peaceful and totally relaxing. If you have younger children the loft spaces are sooo fun and the parents will still have privacy. They book up quick, so make your reservation-I’ll be booking a Fall trip very soon, can’t wait to go again! And, I need to do a shout out for Sunny and Stacey. They are the most personal property managers anywhere - they have become more like friends cover the years. They will take care of you!

  I stayed with my 2 year old and we both had a great time. I was nervous about the train from Dollywood disrupting nap time, but it was never a problem and he even got a kick out of hearing it. We were also able to view the fireworks from Dollywood from the porch every night. I appreciated that anytime I put a location in the GPS, most were only a 5-10 minute drive away and on side roads, avoiding parkway traffic. The deck was beautiful as was the inside. There were really bad storms a couple nights we were there and I was a little worried being high in the trees in a yurt, but it is constructed so well, there weren't any issues. Would 100% recommend to others.

  We surprised our kids with this luxury yurt for two nights along a long family road trip, and they didn't want to leave! It is such a cool place, and the staff is so attentive and accommodating. We have already recommended it to friends and family.

  This place was so unique! My mother and I was absolutely 100% happy with our stay. I had stayed in a yurt before but nothing like this one. My mom was in such awe, that now she wants to have one built LOL. This should be a must do on everyone's list at least once. And I loved that it was so close to home for us. We will for sure be back.

  My mom and I decided to take a trip just the two of us and while browsing VRBO came across this cute yurt. It was in the vicinity of where we wanted to stay and it turned out to be in the best location! Dollywood is hidden behind the hill and you do occasionally get some noise from it but that was not a problem for us. The yurt was clean and had everything we needed for our two night stay. Mornings were well spent with coffee in rocking chairs on the deck while we took in the peaceful view. The hot tub was a hit too! It was clean and very comfortable and much needed after a day of walking and seeing the sights. I stayed on the pull out in the loft and LOVED the skylight view. Blue skies and clouds during the day and stars at night. The owners were in contact with us and really made us feel like if we needed anything they would accommodate us. I have already recommended this place to friends and will continue to do so.

  Would definitely recommend this place! Perfect place if you’re going to relax. We enjoyed the hot tub and the grill on the deck. There was plenty of towels provided to last the trip. It was very well maintained. The location is great; you have privacy but you’re still not far from the main strip where all the restaurants and shops are. The managers were great. Before we got there one of the managers texted us to let us know that the curtain that went on the front door was missing, so she put something temporary up so we could have some privacy. Also, we couldn’t get the heat working in the yurt and they came right over to help us fix it. Very friendly and helpful.

  We stayed here in May as our little getaway from the children. We were able to bring our two young children back to visit this time and once again it was beyond amazing.   Our yurt experience was great! The stairs and walkway to the yurt was beautifully done. Upon opening the door , you see this large space with a beautiful log table, a spiral staircase. The layout was great for the space . The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom nice , the shower big and we were supplied with plenty of towels and facecloth! Everything was so clean and shiny new. The bedroom had a king size bed with plenty of pillows! I did find the bed to soft for my comfort. But that just me! Ii know the area is a work in progress. We wished there would have been a trail on the property to walk . It would have given us outside time. We didn’t want to try walking the driveway. Though we might not make it back up the hill, we had a few laughs about it! I give you all a five star rating on the questions below! We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back! Can’t wait to see what else you guys will be doing !! Thank you Sunny for letting us check in early after long drive! It was much appreciated!

  It was great staying at the yurt. The place was so nice and peaceful on the back deck. Good location too right outside the main strip. Only complaint was it seemed there were parties going on at the big cabin (I think). The one night they were outside took 2-3 am and being in the yurt you could hear everything.

  The McBeary Yurt was the perfect base for our Smoky Mountain vacation. It was secluded yet minutes from everything. All the amenities were great. The bed was comfortable and so were the couch beds. It had lots of hot water for showers. The kitchen has pots/pans, baking pans, utensils, corkscrew, plates, cups, etc. You will need to bring/buy any seasonings including salt and pepper, oil, condiments, sugar/creamer for coffee, aluminum foil/plastic wrap, sandwich baggies, storage containers, etc. There was a picnic table and rocking chairs on the deck, not shown in the pictures. Hand soap, dish soap, dish washer detergent, laundry soap, toilet paper and paper towels were provided. It had all the bedding you need and lots of towels and wash clothes and one dish rag and towel. Don't plan on streaming any shows or spending a lot of time on the internet. The wifi didn't work very well and was very slow. I read they are trying to fix that though. Overall, I highly recommend staying here and will definitely go back.

  This yurt is still brand new not even 6 months old and smelled new. We enjoyed the hot tub every night, the huge porch with gorgeous views, the grill. The kitchen had everything you could think of including crock pot and blender. The internet was spotty, but in the grand scheme this place was awesome and I hope to stay there again! Super responsive and friendly staff.
