  It was our first time in a yurt. It was super cute and cozy perfect for couples get away. Beautiful views while chilling in the hot tub or grilling. When it rained it was like having a white noise but with rain it was amazing. Everything was pleasant they took care of us very well. They even went above and beyond to look for our phone when we lost it! We did the Grotto Falls trail for the first time since we have been coming. We also explored Gatlinburg/Anakeesta and just driving around. Love the management(Sunny) and owner(Larry).   Property was definitely clean, cozy and much of what you'd expect for a cabin. Kitchen space was nice and had enough equipment to comfortably cook anything you need. They even gave a few coffee pods to jump start the trip! Management was very responsive and communicated excellently and promptly.
  
  Strikes for me (personally): AC unit and hot tub were not turned on prior to arrival so house was warm and I couldn't use hot tub when I initially wanted. Stargazing hole is half-blocked by a tree so you can only see the sky at certain angles... most of which are not on the couch. Yurt is located in CLOSE proximity to four other yurts and a 3-story cabin which was not mentioned. Not exactly the quiet getaway I was hoping for as I could hear everyone. Plus they're building more yurts just 500ft up the road and you'll hear all that during the daytime. Lastly, due to close proximity of the other yurts, if anyone has their patio lights on (which was everyone) you can be sure seeing the stars is that much harder both from the hot tub and the roof.
  
  Overall, cute little place but definitely don't feel like it's advertised adequately. Keep in mind, this was a solo trip and my first time in the area and all I wanted was to hike the Smokies and look at the stars. If you're there for more commercial fun this could be a great option!

  The yurt was so fun! I was worried we would not like the location as there is no real "mountain view" however the view was lovely, the large deck overlooked the woods and the proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg could not have been better for us! Super quick drives to both. While the other yurts were very close, it did not feel intrusive. We loved the cozy upstairs loft area and for the 2 of us, we felt we had plenty of room to spread out. The interior felt modern and well done with some nice, higher end touches. I loved the stone paths leading to the front doors! We have already talked about making this an annual trip. The only minor hiccup was no hairdryer in the unit and one was never brought after I had asked. This stuff happens so it wasn't a big deal. Other than that, they were extremely nice and helpful with directions, turning on lights for us as we got in very late and responsive. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

  My Sweetie and I had A Great Time!!!! The Yurt was Very Clean and Conveniently located to town, but had a feeling of being way out of town!!! We spent one day just hanging out relaxing at the Yurt and it was so peaceful just listening to the rain. Communication was Excellent and We Will Definitely stay here again!!!!!

  We have never stayed in a Yurt before. The cutest, relaxing place ever!! Convenient to everything. I loved how we were in town but not "in" town. You could hear the Dollywood train and the fireworks were so pretty. I like the set-up of the Yurt and how quiet it was in the area! If your looking for somewhere cute and simply. This is your place!!

  Loved this experience and perfect location! Easy to leave Dollywood and head to the yurt for lunch. You could see the fireworks through the trees. Easy check in and out. We would recommend this for any visit to the smokies it was excellent!

  Very nice & modern. More space than you’d think. The extra pull out bed in the loft offers more space & was great for a couple kids. The deck was very spacious, and the hot tub was an added bonus! All things considered, price was very reasonable & literally right next to Dollywood.

  This was a really different experience for us. We usually start in a cabin, but we wanted to try something different. It was a little hard to tell the colors of a couple of yurts apart, but we figured it out by the house numbers. Upon entering the yurt it nice, VERY CLEAN, quaint and cozy. The location was perfect and we had easy access to all the hot spots in town without having to drive for a long time. One thing I did realize it that everyone can hear everything that is going on with the neighbors if your outside. Also with being so close to Dollywood I thought the noise from them was going to be bad, but it wasn’t. It was just my husband and I that stayed and I’m sure we will definitely stay in one again. I was also in touch with the property manager, Sunny, and she was absolutely great!!!!

  We had a had a great time staying in this Yert.This was a new construction and everything was just as advertised. The owners were easy to get a hold of and I know they would be willing to address any issues that arise. We had no issues during our stay.The owners are building more units as I write this and when they get this resort done it will a great vacation community. The location is secluded yet close to everything in Pigeon Forge and just a short drive to Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountain national park.

  My wife and I enjoyed our stay the past 4 nights at the Timber Oaks newest Luxury Yurt. This was an awesome experience at it's finest. The accommodations were very accessible and beautiful. Everything that you need right at your fingertips and high end furnishings. The loft area you could view the stars from the overhead dome feature. Centrally located and convenient to area attractions and restaurants. Great place to stay. Larry, the owner, was very nice and is always available to answer any questions. It was a relaxing and quite place. We will definitely stay here again but I would also recommend to friends and family as well. Cannot wait to come back in May. Thank you to the owner, Larry McNutt for making this weekend a GREAT new experience!! Ten⭐'s
