  It's close; but secluded! I know that sounds like a contradiction, but from the road you are in sight of the DollyWood parking lot but you go up the road and you are in the woods, where it is quiet and secluded. Bottom line: I'd highly recommend it to folks (already have in fact) and I'd book again for my next trip as long as it is not mid-winter as the road is very steep.

  This was a romantic getaway for my husband and me. Hot tub was nice, but not private at this unit. The cabin folks looked down on us most of the time. Unless there was a trick to it, the shower had no hot water. We woke up to 60 degrees the first morning. The thermostat was locked, but with a call, we were able to fix it. Overall it was just what we needed.. A nice getaway. The management was quick to respond.

  Our family really loved staying in the yurt. It was extremely clean and neat upon our arrival. The property manager was only a text message away when I had any questions or concerns. We liked the yurt’s location overall, but would have preferred a lighted pathway at night due to the uneven terrain getting to the yurt. Noise can be an issue here especially if you have not so quiet neighbors like we did. There is construction going on there so be prepared for trucks and workers. It did rain while we were there; be prepared for it to be loud since it is a yurt. I loved hearing rain at night it helped me sleep. Also be prepared for your emergency break to be used for parking since it’s on a hill. All in all we loved staying there with our teenage son; he had a great time sleeping in the loft on the rollaway bed provided.

  Honestly, it’s better than the pictures. It’s so cute and quaint, but feels SO much more spacious inside than it looks when you walk up on the property. This place is going to be REALLY hard to book in the future, I can guarantee it. It’s so, so good. The location is perfect if you want a very short 10-20min drive to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge (depending on traffic), but still want to enjoy the quiet solitude in nature.

The manager was great and very quick in responding to messages, the property had a great view, and the experience was overall one of the best vacations we've had in the Smokies. My only complaint is that there is a lack of privacy screening around the hot tub-- the cabin overlooking our yurt had a direct line of sight to our hot tub which led to some uncomfortable feelings of exposure when the cabin renters would be hanging out on their balcony. Overall though, very satisfied and would definitely recommend!

  This Yurt is great!! Very well furnished, clean and convenient to Dollywood and the parkway. It is far enough off the parkway and close enough to various routes of getting where you need to go. The upstairs loft area would be great for grand kids or pre-teenagers. We have stayed here multiple times. Reservations are easy and response time is very quick.   We stayed in unit 28 Aussie Bear Yurt for 6 nights and I wanted to take the opportunity to say how absolutely amazing our stay was!! The yurt was just so gorgeous and comfortable, a perfect quiet oasis to come back to after a long day in the hussle and bussle of Pigeon Forge. Everything was clean and tidy upon our arrival. Our 7yr old son loved having his own space in the loft with a TV and the adorable teepee setup! We cooked meals in the kitchen and hung out on the deck listening to the steam train at Dollywood. It was just perfect! The location is amazing, close enough to everything but still feels secluded. We were sad to leave at the end of our trip and I will recommend it to everyone I know!!   This is one of the best places I have ever stayed! It met all of our needs, felt modern and rustic all at the same time. The kitchen was well stocked, we had everything we needed to be comfortable, the deck and hot tub were amazing, everything was well laid out. Washer and dryer were a great bonus to our stay since it rained often. You also won't find a better location, very centralized yet you feel secluded. The only thing I would caution people against is that the unit is small and open and while there is separation you can hear one area to the next. My girls loved the upstairs area, slept upstairs on the inflatable mattress and played "camping" up there for hours on end while he rained outside. You won't be disappointed!

  Walked in the door and was met by a lit Christmas tree. The whole place was beautiful and clean. I had everything I needed for my stay. Sitting in the hottub at night was a great and relaxing end to each day.

  It was very clean and cozy, a great and beautiful place to rent for a getaway!! The only thing I’d like to see is a King size bed in the loft verses the queen double air mattress so if you’re there with another couple, both have great beds to choose from ❤️ But I would stay again!

  We loved staying in this yurt. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Had evening cocktails and morning coffee on the spacious deck while watching the wildlife. Great location, close to entertainment and restaurants. Had a lovely dinner at Seasons 101 and enjoyed the rooftop lounge. Spent the day at the Island. If you ever thought about staying in a yurt, this would be a great one to try. Really glad we chose this rental. We would definitely stay here again.

  This last minute rental did not disappoint! Sunny and Larry hooked us up. Our yurt had amenities of a fine hotel while glamping and enjoying nature. My husband especially enjoyed the hot tub numerous times, while I just sat on the deck reading. Inside was perfect too — satellite TV, full kitchen, comfy bed and a large bathroom. Very clean. Oh, last little bonus — you could hear the Dollywood train in the distance. Such a perfect getaway!
