  My husband and 2 kids stayed in the Aussie bear! It was so fun! We brought air mattresses for the kids to sleep in the loft and see the stars. They loved having their own kids area during the trip. I was pleasantly surprised that the renters included so many start up supplies so we could get settled before going to the store. Plus, the location was perfect! So close to everything but still with a feeling of being in the middle of the woods. Bonus- we could see the Dollywood fireworks every single night!

  We had a baseball team of 12 and their families go to the Cal Ripken Experience. The location of the yurts and treehouses was perfect to any local attraction. It was also perfect in the fact you could take a back way to the fields to avoid any traffic and was within 6 minutes. Sunny, the manager, was amazing from start to finish.... so kind and very helpful even during our stay! We stayed in a yurt and it was perfect for our family of 3, having everything we needed for a week stay. Our view was of the woods. We were basically in the backyard of Dollywood so you’d hear the occasional whistle of the train and screams of the roller coaster rides but nothing annoying or bad;) My daughter stayed in the loft of the yurt and absolutely loved her own little space with an awesome view of the stars at night. This was a perfect spot and we would 100% stay here again!

Everything was well maintained and it truly felt like home. Customer service was AMAZING! They checked on me during my stay to ensure that everything was suitable. When my code wasn’t working, I called and received help immediately. At the time, she was driving and she actually pulled over to assist me. Talk about outstanding! The location is great where all of the main attractions are just a couple of miles away. The area was quiet and perfect for a quiet getaway, while you can also still enjoy the tourist attractions. I highly recommend this place, and will be staying here again in the future.

  It's close; but secluded! I know that sounds like a contradiction, but from the road you are in sight of the DollyWood parking lot but you go up the road and you are in the woods, where it is quiet and secluded. Bottom line: I'd highly recommend it to folks (already have in fact) and I'd book again for my next trip as long as it is not mid-winter as the road is very steep.

  This was a romantic getaway for my husband and me. Hot tub was nice, but not private at this unit. The cabin folks looked down on us most of the time. Unless there was a trick to it, the shower had no hot water. We woke up to 60 degrees the first morning. The thermostat was locked, but with a call, we were able to fix it. Overall it was just what we needed.. A nice getaway. The management was quick to respond.

  Our family really loved staying in the yurt. It was extremely clean and neat upon our arrival. The property manager was only a text message away when I had any questions or concerns. We liked the yurt’s location overall, but would have preferred a lighted pathway at night due to the uneven terrain getting to the yurt. Noise can be an issue here especially if you have not so quiet neighbors like we did. There is construction going on there so be prepared for trucks and workers. It did rain while we were there; be prepared for it to be loud since it is a yurt. I loved hearing rain at night it helped me sleep. Also be prepared for your emergency break to be used for parking since it’s on a hill. All in all we loved staying there with our teenage son; he had a great time sleeping in the loft on the rollaway bed provided.

The location is perfect if you want a very short 10-20min drive to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge (depending on traffic), but still want to enjoy the quiet solitude in nature.

  We had an excellent time! The manager was great and very quick in responding to messages, the property had a great view, and the experience was overall one of the best vacations we've had in the Smokies. My only complaint is that there is a lack of privacy screening around the hot tub-- the cabin overlooking our yurt had a direct line of sight to our hot tub which led to some uncomfortable feelings of exposure when the cabin renters would be hanging out on their balcony. Overall though, very satisfied and would definitely recommend!

  This Yurt is great!! Very well furnished, clean and convenient to Dollywood and the parkway. It is far enough off the parkway and close enough to various routes of getting where you need to go. The upstairs loft area would be great for grand kids or pre-teenagers. We have stayed here multiple times. Reservations are easy and response time is very quick. Would recommend this place and we plan to return.

  We were staying at the BnB during Dollywood’s fireworks. We didn’t get to see too much of the fireworks, but enough to make it magical! The nature surrounding us made for an unforgettable time.   We stayed in unit 28 Aussie Bear Yurt for 6 nights and I wanted to take the opportunity to say how absolutely amazing our stay was!! The yurt was just so gorgeous and comfortable, a perfect quiet oasis to come back to after a long day in the hussle and bussle of Pigeon Forge. Everything was clean and tidy upon our arrival. Our 7yr old son loved having his own space in the loft with a TV and the adorable teepee setup! We cooked meals in the kitchen and hung out on the deck listening to the steam train at Dollywood. It was just perfect! The location is amazing, close enough to everything but still feels secluded. We were sad to leave at the end of our trip and I will recommend it to everyone I know!! Thank you all for this amazing rental!

  This is one of the best places I have ever stayed! It met all of our needs, felt modern and rustic all at the same time. The kitchen was well stocked, we had everything we needed to be comfortable, the deck and hot tub were amazing, everything was well laid out. Washer and dryer were a great bonus to our stay since it rained often. You also won't find a better location, very centralized yet you feel secluded. The only thing I would caution people against is that the unit is small and open and while there is separation you can hear one area to the next. My girls loved the upstairs area, slept upstairs on the inflatable mattress and played "camping" up there for hours on end while he rained outside. You won't be disappointed!

  Until our last day, the weather was less than favorable, including winds our first night the downed a couple of trees near us. The yurt was very sturdy and wonderful, inside and out. My wife and I were joined by my adult son and his good friend. While there was accommodations for four, I would recommend sticking with two people. We will definitely be back for more yurt life!!!

  This last minute rental did not disappoint! Sunny and Larry hooked us up. Our yurt had amenities of a fine hotel while glamping and enjoying nature. My husband especially enjoyed the hot tub numerous times, while I just sat on the deck reading. Inside was perfect too — satellite TV, full kitchen, comfy bed and a large bathroom. Very clean. Oh, last little bonus — you could hear the Dollywood train in the distance. Such a perfect getaway!
